For this new edition of Palladium Insiders, we stepped inside this vibrant space to meet the people who make BAAK what it is every day. Together, we share more than a love of craftsmanship, we share a spirit of freedom, authenticity, and boldness.
At first glance, Palladium and BAAK belong to different worlds: on one side, the iconic footwear brand born from exploration and movement; on the other, a workshop that elevates motorcycles and automobiles through timeless savoir-faire.
And yet, their meeting felt inevitable.
Both embrace what’s real, what’s made by hand, built to last.

At Palladium, it’s about durable canvas, rugged soles, and an adventurous heritage.

Through the lens of Palladium Insiders, the artisans of BAAK become the faces of a shared story: one of transmitted know-how, timeless style, and a mutual passion for freedom of movement.
At BAAK, every individual reveals a different facet of the same mindset: a love of craftsmanship, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the tangible.
First, there’s Salomé, Head of Communications and Event, the voice of BAAK to the outside world.
Between newsletters, community management, and textile collections, she channels the human energy that defines the workshop.
What she loves most? “Connecting with people, seeing a project come to life, achieving something together.”
In her fast-paced days, the Pallabase Twill is her natural companion: bright, feminine, and assertive, just like her.
A traveler at heart, always on the move, she perfectly embodies the curious, exploratory spirit that connects BAAK and Palladium.
Next is Jordan, one of the workshop’s pillars, overseeing motorcycle and upholstery production.
A true guardian of craftsmanship, he stands for an artisanal approach deeply rooted in French mechanical heritage.
For him, “BAAK is the last true motorcycle workshop in France”, a place where metal, leather, and human hands replace the ease of plastic.
Discreet and loyal, attached to quality and authenticity, Jordan sees himself in the Pampa Hi Zip Leather tough, timeless, and unpretentious.
Estelle, leatherworker and saddler, lives for her connection with materials.
She speaks of leather like a companion: alive, demanding, and inspiring. “What I love is feeling the material, transforming it, and watching an object take shape beneath my hands.”
Her vision of BAAK? A family-like, ethical workshop where every product carries the mark of the right gesture.
For her, the Pallabase perfectly reflects the blend of modern and vintage she brings to life every day.
Then there’s Michael, part of the production team.
A former professional breakdancer, he brings contagious energy and performance discipline to the workshop.
“What I love is the atmosphere, teamwork, and collective creativity.”
Always curious, he personifies Palladium’s urban, adventurous spirit.
During the shoot, he wore the Pampa Hi, finding in it the same balance of movement, authenticity, and style.
Maxime assembles the pieces that turn clients’ mechanical dreams into reality. A former soldier, he’s known the strength of Palladium boots for years:
“My Pampas carried me through my entire military service, solid and reliable in every situation.”
At BAAK, he channels that same discipline and passion into custom craftsmanship.
Warm, hardworking, and generous, he represents the beating heart of the workshop: someone who believes customer satisfaction is the ultimate reward.
Finally, Sébastien, BAAK’s director for several years now, is the thread connecting this collective adventure. A passionate entrepreneur, he has shaped the company around a simple idea: putting people and craftsmanship back at the center.
“Our mission is to take people’s dreams out of their heads and make them real.”
For him, the connection with Palladium came naturally: two brands united by the same search for meaning, the same timeless elegance, and the same desire to create things that last.
