It all began in 2013, when Amélie Le Roux founded @Béton Ciré, a bold and distinctive brand that reimagined the iconic Breton Miki docker hat, a sailor’s beanie that quickly became a must-have piece for style lovers in Paris and around the world.
The brand offers a unique blend of seaside inspiration and the designer’s deep love for urban culture. Always seeking innovation, Amélie continually refines her designs to create pieces that are authentic, modern, and beautifully crafted.
True to its artisanal savoir-faire, Béton Ciré places great emphasis on its environmental impact, carefully selecting materials in collaboration with a trusted network of experts.
As part of Palladium Insiders, we had the chance to step into Amélie Le Roux’s world for a day.
A mother of twins and a passionate entrepreneur, her days are anything but quiet: by 8:30 a.m., after dropping her children off at school, she’s already on the move.
"Creating and building: it’s about blending everything I see and everything I experience in life."
With Amélie, inspiration isn’t something that can be planned, it’s nourished by every precious moment life has to offer.
Every minute of her day is an opportunity to let her imagination flow freely: a simple stop at a café becomes a moment of observation. From the silhouettes, clothing, and accessories of passersby, her creativity is constantly challenged and fueled by her surroundings.
Her lifestyle is a whirlwind of movements: between meetings, finalizing prototypes, and stolen moments playing with her children. That’s why she seeks freedom and comfort above all else.

Palladium’s most iconic model is undoubtedly the Pampa Hi, launched in 1947. Originally designed to equip soldiers of the French Foreign Legion, this sturdy and versatile boot quickly became an urban staple and a symbol of exploration. Even today, it remains the brand’s most recognizable silhouette.
Alongside it, models like the Pallabase and modern variations of the Pampa (Zip, Mary-Jane, Baggy) embody the Palladium spirit: combining functionality, timeless style, and a sense of adventure.
